Connect Card Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Connect Card! By signing up to or interacting with Connect or any Connect Card ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Data Protection and GDPR Compliance:
   • Connect Card respects your privacy and operates in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We hold a valid certificate from the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) to ensure that your personal data is protected.
2. User Data Sharing:
   • By using Connect Card, you agree to share the data displayed on your Connect Card publicly. This data will be visible on your public Connect Card domain.
3. Public Visibility:
   • Connect Cards are viewable to any member of the public who accesses the public Connect Card domain. Users acknowledge and agree that their data displayed on their Connect Card will be visible to the public.
4. Communication Consent:
   • By interacting with Connect Card, users consent to receive emails from Connect for notifications related to their account and the Service.
5. Ownership and License:
   • All content provided by users on Connect Card remains their property. By providing content, users grant Connect a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content in connection with the Service.
6. Intellectual Property:
   • All intellectual property rights in the Service, including but not limited to trademarks, logos, service marks, and software, are owned by or licensed to Connect.
7. Liability Limitation:
   • Connect Card, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses resulting from the use of or inability to use the Service.

   • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Connect Card, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.
9. Modification of Terms:
   • Connect Card reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Connect Card website. Your continued use of the Service after the posting of revised Terms and Conditions signifies your acceptance of the changes.
10. Governing Law:
    • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
